We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card and debit cards backed by MasterCard or Visa for donations.

Yes, if your ATM or debit card is backed by MasterCard or Visa and does not require a PIN number.

What is the Card Security Code?
A Card Security Code is a special security code feature on your American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa credit card. The codes are not raised, so they are not scanned into standard credit card readers. In theory, these numbers are only visible to you. When you give your code to a merchant, you assist the merchant in verifying that the order is being placed by you, the card holder. The Muscular Dystrophy Association requires you to enter your Card Security Code whenever you make an online donation to help us detect fraudulent use of your card before your account is charged. This simple step allows us to greatly enhance the safety and security of our ordering process.

How do I find my Card Security Code?
Discover, MasterCard and Visa Credit Card Users
Flip your card over and look at the signature box. You should see a 16-digit credit card number followed by a special 3-digit code. This 3-digit code is your Card Security Code.

American Express Credit Card Users
Look for the 4-digit code printed on the front of your card just above and to the right of your main credit card number. This 4-digit code is your Card Security Code.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes, as long as you did not receive goods or services in exchange for your payment.
